UCBMSH Students attended an interactive talk- Insignia of Excellence – Ms. Sarika Panchhi in conversation with Mrs. Rakesh Dhawan (Industrialist) organized by World Integrity Center (WIC), Dehradun.<\/p>\n

She is the first lady of Uttarakhand\u2019s leading industry \u2013SARA SAE and Founding Director of Sara Industrial Estate Limited. She Inspired and empowered women to work for the change they wish to see in the world, find their voice and claim their space in the community, nation and world.<\/p>\n

In this 50-minute keynote Mrs. Rakesh Dhawan:<\/p>\n

\u2022 Shares the story of how she set up her business and became the Founding Director of Sara Industrial Estate Limited
\n\u2022 Provides examples of individuals (like the audience) who made an impact
\n\u2022 Demonstrates how media images affect women\u2019s self-esteem and aspirations
\n\u2022 Outlines women\u2019s current situations and opportunities for women empowerment
\n\u2022 Stressing on the importance of scout and guides in schools<\/p>\n

Gender equality is the first step to bring women empowerment in India. Men should not understand that women are made only to handle household chores or take responsibility of home and family. Instead, both (men and women) are responsible for everything of daily routine. There should be some effective and tight laws which can be followed by everyone. It is not the responsibility of our government only, it is the responsibility of each and every Indian. Every Indian need to change their mind towards women and strictly follow all the rules made for women empowerment.<\/p>\n

\u201cNow-a-days, a lot of youngsters are facing problems due to lack of self-confidence. She also urged the students to do well in their studies, take care of their family, and be a part in scouts and guides activities.<\/p>\n
