All the students assembled outside the college at around 12:30pm with posters and banners containing slogans that highlight the causes and effects of cancer on our lives. The pupil-teachers of B.Ed. marched from the college campus to Chandrabani area to spread awareness about Cancer to every person, household and market area that came our way.
The sole purpose of our rally was to make the people aware about this deadly disease. Tobacco and alcohol consumption are the major causes of cancer. We pledged to encourage people to prevent consumption of such cancer-causing elements. Early detection and treatment can save the lives of many people worldwide. The B.Ed. students then marched back to the college campus at around 1:30pm with a sense of satisfaction of having fulfilled a very important social responsibility.
