INTRODUCTION
The Forest Research Institute is an institute of the Indian council of Forest Research and Education and is a premier institution in the field of forestry research in India. It is located at Dehradun in Uttarakhand, and is one of the oldest institutions of its kind. In 1991, it was declared a deemed university.
Visit was organised to FRI for educational purpose on dated 31/8/17. The visit is mainly confined for student of M.Sc. I & III sem. of EVS Department.
Objective of the visit:
- To learn about importance of forest resources.
- To learn about different aspects of environmental degradation.
The visit was successful for the students to know about importance of natural resources and their management.
