Brief Introduction:
Uttarakhand Government considers science, technology and innovation to be excellent vehicles for developing the national knowledge and economy. As a part UREDA has been encouraged to take a leading role in the development of the renewable energy sector in a guidance of Ministry of New and Renewable Energy and the conductive platform for the promotion of energy conservation.
MSc. Students (II semester) of EVS department has been visited to the UREDA on 31 March, 2018, as one of the course included is Energy Resource Management. Students able to obtained thorough practical knowledge on renewable energy resources like: solar energy, solar panels, solar storage, hydro energy, biomass gasifier, hybrid system.
Conclusion: This visit was very advantageous for the students in understanding renewable energy resources.
