Blood Donation Camp Report held in UCBMSH

Brief Introduction:
A blood donation camp was organized by Uttaranchal biomedical college and hospital from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. The Camp was inaugurated by Principal UCBMSH Dr. Rashmi Dhingra and Dy. Director Admin Sri Dinesh Kumar Gupta, and HOD MLT Mr.Vikas Tiwari. In this camp Overwhelming number of Volunteers of the college and department of college has participated with Vivacity. 90 Volunteers have donated the blood in Hospital campus. And many volunteers are held on call at the time of any scarcity/ need.
Participants: Students of UCBMSH and faculty members of UCBMSH.
Speaking on the eve, the Medical officer said that one unit of blood can save lives of four people. The event organizers said that to express his support for this proactive action, the camp is aimed at collecting above 200 units of blood. It will lay special emphasis on the participation of youths.The staff of the blood banks of IMA provided medical and logistic support on the occasion
