Introduction:
As a part of academic activity, a GUEST LECTURE was organized by the department of Mathematics on 23 March 2018. The Topic for the Guest Lecture was “ FUNCTIONAL ANALYSIS”, which is given by Prof. Uday Singh( IIT Roorkee) delivered lecture on hilbert space , inner space , banach space and examples on functional analysis.
About Guest Faculty
Dr. Uday Singh is professorof the maths Department at INDIAN INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY, ROORKEE. He did his doctoral research work from University of Rochester. He has 36 years teaching and research experience.
Conclusion
Students of M.sc.maths 2nd and 4thsem attended the lecture.
Total no. of students are 30 students are highly motivated after attaining this type of guest lecture on functional analysis.in our college campus.
